The M7 by LionSteel is an all-round fixed blade for outdoor use. The first version was a limited edition knife that was made in collaboration with Moletta, or knife maker Michel Pensato: the Carthago. With some adjustments this has become the M7: a knife with a full tang blade and micarta handle. The handle is more than big enough for your whole hand. However, on the blade a space was made for your index finger, to enable extra careful steering of the blade. A shallow, machined pattern in the micarta doesn’t only increase the grip, but also enhances the special design which makes it immediately recognizable as a Lionsteel blade. Unique to this knife is that the handle is machined from a single piece of micarta. Normally, two separate pieces of micarta will be mounted on the blade to create a handle, but the M7 is really placed within the micarta. This blade is a heavy duty type of blade. The blade of Sleipner-steel is 5.5 mm thick on the back. Combined with the hardness of 60-61 HRC, this knife will stand his ground under the toughest conditions.
The M7 comes with a kydex-sheath in which you can firmly place the knife. The kydex is screwed to a sturdy backside of cordura, using eight screws. Four loops withpush buttons and velcro make it possible to carry the sheath in different ways or attach it to your equipment.
